Last night I had a violently gentle dream.

i really really like this, but unfortunately i've tried playing through it twice and both times it worked perfectly up until ten minutes into the walkthrough video, at which point the two windows titled UNDER appeared with their text but the two windows titled YOU and ME didn't have any text on them (unlike in the video) and left me unable to proceed further. i'm not sure what's happening wrong but it just stops there
